The international character of the event is best highlighted by the 70+ companies already registered. They include exhibitors from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands, Norway and the UK.
Expanded PotatoEurope 2010 programme
This year’s event covers a wide range of topics, such as breeding, fertilisers, crop protection, production technology, processing and marketing.
The extensive static exhibition area and interactive discussion forums are not the only features because there will be more working machines when compared to the first event in 2006.
Visitors will be able to catch up on all the latest developments in two, four and eight row planting. Five suppliers will show seven machines in action.
There will also be plenty of working trailed and self-propelled potato harvesters. So far, 15 machines have been entered. These include single, two and four-row machines in both bunker and elevator formats.
PotatoEurope will take place on 8 and 9 September 2010 at Rittergut Bockerode in Springe-Mittelrode near Hanover. It is organised by the DLG in conjunction with the German Potato Industry Association (UNIKA), with support from K+S Kali GmbH.
Registration deadline for exhibitors 14 May 2010.
